Synopsis: Stephanie moves to Austin with her boyfriend where they are starting their lives together. But almost as soon as they get settled in a new city things begin to fall apart, this man that she moved across states with is not the same guy he was before. Now, Stephanie is sitting in a little coffee shop crying her eyes out over her lack of a relationship when she is approached by a handsome stranger, Francisco. Soon she catches herself being drawn to this handsome stranger only to find out he has issues of his own.
I thought the story was okay. I think I just had personal issues with the speed at which these two main characters fell into each others arms, but what can you expect from a 51 page book, right? I know this was just a glimpse to get me captivated by the story but it was just to fast for me. I personally would have liked to see Stephanie and Francisco build a little more on their sudden attraction, and maybe leave us with a huge cliffhanger. It might just be my thoughts, but I do love some suspense and maybe some moments of heart break, but ultimately I want to see the happy ending. I just believe this book wasn’t for me, but I think I will give the 1st book a shot to see if there is the anticipation, and angst that I was missing.
