Olivia works for Archangel, a human run research facility, what they research and study is the paranormal species. While Olivia has hit a rough patch, she gets a handsome and seemingly dangerous fae dumped on her lab table. Will this be the lucky break Olivia needs to get her career and life back on track?

Loren, Prince of the Elves and currently the unconscious species on Olivia’s table suffering from injuries of an almost life long war. When Loren comes to, he’s confused and also distracted by his surroundings and the female occupant that resides in it. Due to the Princes bodily injuries, and lack of blood all he can focus on is Olivia’s pulse in her neck, and one bite tells him this is his eternal mate.

I was a little skeptical in the beginning, I didn’t bother reading the summary that way I wasn’t sitting around expecting something to happen. I am so glad I decided to click on this book, I was first drawn to the cover and the title. Loren and Olivia’s nonexistent/existent relationship had me hooked. I enjoyed the development with with characters and that Olivia wasn’t automatically swept up, although she technically was. Loren tried to use that sort of masculine authoritative air about him, but Olivia was stubborn and tried her best to stick to what she knew. Because Loren and Olivia are eternal mates they are automatically drawn to one another when found, but I was glad to see a courtship and not just an automatic relationship. Like I said before I am definitely hooked, I have already started the second book, I am not sure how far I am going to get into the 15 books of the series but, Heaton has me hooked as of now.

Until next time, keep reading and be sure to Read Th*S!
